About Donald Collins

​I'm a blessed artist in that when asked what I do , I get to answer , what I love . My life is my canvas and I try to stay in creative mode as much as possible finding inspiration everywhere I look . I am first and foremost a quick sketch artist , and pursue this medium with pen and ink and passion . This is my connection with the world around me and keeps me grounded . I paint as a release of memories and dreams , exploring the inner world I construct my view of the outer world with . I consider myself a social activist using my art as a medium for change . If I can bring the viewer out of their world perspective and see the world from a different perspective I've done my job as an artist .
